Joe has been a Homebuilder since graduating from Virginia Tech, with a degree in Building Construction in 1976. After working for a large local builder in the Portland Metro Area, for over twelve years, building both single family and multifamily housing communities, he formed JDR Contracting, Inc.

JDR now concentrates on developing small housing communities in the Beaverton, Hillsboro, Aloha, Cornelius, Forest Grove, and Westside Portland areas. Current, past and future projects include single family luxury homes like those at The Preserve, Upscale attached Row Homes, Condominiums, and entry level homes.

Each new project is carefully selected, designed, and processed by Joe and his team of professional planners and engineers to meet the needs of the area and its new homebuyers.

New homes built by JDR Contracting, Inc. are built to higher standards, than those of other homes in the same price range. Many of the extras offered by other builders are included as standards in JDR homes.
